Mariah Carey Holiday Mini Sets (Part 1)

Hey ladies! How was your Thanksgiving? Mine was pretty laid back and relaxing with lots of turkey. I can't believe it's December already!
Now to the good stuff... I've recently won a giveaway for two Mariah Carey holiday mini sets from Kat Stays Polished. Since there's a total of six polishes, I'll be breaking it up into two separate posts.

Today I have for you Silent Stars Go By, Baby Please Come Home, and Make Him Mine.

Excuse the quality of the photos, my hands look very red thanks to my phone's camera and the lighting isn't as great as it should be.

Silent Stars Go By

In each picture there are two coats of Silent Stars Go By
 with no top coat
"This blush of textured pink has parades of sparkle"

Opposed to what OPI says, Silent Stars Go By seems to be more of a champagne color. It is made up of fine glitter and small hexes in the same champagne color. The application was easy and it was opaque in two coats. It also dried very quickly. Due to being so packed with glitter, it was a bit of a pain to clean up.

Baby Please Come Home

In each picture there are two coats of Baby Please Come
Home without top coat
"Can't wait to see you... In this textured and sparkling lilac"

This polish isn't obviously purple and appears to be more of a gunmetal gray color. Similar to Silent Stars Go By as it is made up of fine and small hex glitter in the same shade. Application was a breeze, as per usual with OPI and was opaque in two coats. Cleanup was a horror with this due to glitter moving around and not coming off.

Make Him Mine

In each picture there are two coats of Make Him Mine
without top coat
"But make this textured glistening rose mine first!"

Closest to the preview than the other two polishes as it seems to be a soft rose gold in indirect light, and a pale gold in direct lighting. Again it's made up of fine and small hex glitters but at some angles the hexes seem to look silver while at other angles they match the fine glitter base. Application was easy as ever and was opaque in two coats. This one seemed to take a little longer to dry than the other two as I ended up with a few nicks in it.

Some ending thoughts? Despite OPI being way off with the descriptions of these polishes, I think they're still absolutely gorgeous (I mean how couldn't they, it's glitter!). Rather than pinks and purples, they seemed to be more of metal tones. Out of the three, I think Make Him Mine is my fave.
What do you guys think about it? Which one is your favorite?

Until next time! Stay tuned for part 2!
