Charlie's Rad Lacquer Noble Gases Collection

Sorry I've been MIA guys, I got a new job where I'm working just about every day so I haven't had a lot of time for blogging. But my boss is totally awesome and let me have a swatch day today!

Here I have to share with you guys the Noble Gases collection made by Charlie's Rad Lacquer. These polishes are named after the noble gases (as their name suggests) and they are all neons with a holo flair to them. They are also all UV reactive meaning they all glow under black light. Unfortunately, my black light is currently out of commission so I will have to do a separate post on that in the (hopefully near) future.

Louboutin Nails

Today I have for you a mani I did last week: Louboutin Nails. Since doing this I have cut my nails down due to a tragic break. Having Louboutin nails is simply having one color on top of the nail, and another color on the underside, much like the shoe.

White Nails & Cheetah Print

In case you couldn't tell by how soon it's been since my last cheetah mani, I love cheetah print! I also love doing cheetah print on my nails. It's a quick and pretty simple way to add some flair to your mani.

This particular mani was inspired by a girl's nails I did this past weekend for a birthday party. She wanted me to paint them white and add cheetah print to them. When I finished I was like "whoa this is hecka cute!" so I had to do something similar!

Rainbow Honey - Papillon

Today I have for you ladies a cute glitter topper from the indie polish maker Rainbow Honey called Papillon.

Due to my extreme paleness and the neon nature of the base color I used, my skin is a little odd looking, I apologize!

365 Days of Color Crazy in Love

Hello ladies! Today I have for you a polish from 365 Days of Color called Crazy in Love.

**Note: Due to how pale my skin is and the color of the poilsh, the camera picked up my skin as more red than it actually is, however, the color of the polish is accurate.**

Tribal Nails for #nailartmay

As per usual, I've been slacking on my nail art challenge. I missed the past two or three themes, and I'm posting this a day late, but today I have for you Tribal nails for #nailartmay.

This was my first attempt at ever doing tribal nails. This is also my first time working with a striper to achieve (what are supposed to be) straight lines.

Here I'm wearing two coats of All My Stars on my middle and ring finger over two coats of Revlon Impulsive topped with one coat of Seche Vite.

Bestie Twin Nails: Neon Cheetah

Hey ladies! Today I want to share with you a mani I did with one of my friends, Tori, also known as Nails by Vix or @nailsbyvix on Instagram. She and I decided to do a neon cheetah print mani with a silver holo base.

Galaxy Nails for #nailartmay

Hello ladies! Long time no see! Now that finals are here for me I'm hoping to have the time to actually keep up with my nails and blog about it! I'm trying to get back into my nail mojo by doing the #nailartmay nail art challenge hosted by user Californails on Instagram.
As yesterday was May 4th, the theme was Star Wars (May the fourth be with you hahahahehehe). I was intimidated by the thought of getting back into nail art by painting characters, I took the easier way out and just did some galaxy nails.

Green Fan Brush Nail Art

Hey ladies! Sorry I haven't been posting, I got caught up in a bunch of school work and haven't had time to do much with my nails. But I'm back, and today I have some fan brush nail art to show you. This is a pretty cool technique and it's super simple to do.

Zoya Stevie

Back in January Zoya had a promotion to get three free polishes, so of course I pounced on that opportunity. Today I have for you one of those polishes: Zoya Stevie.

Stevie is one of Zoya's Pixie Dust polishes, which means it dries with a textured finish and does not require top coat. Stevie is lavender in color speckled with silver microglitters.

L'Oreal Hidden Gems

Hey ladies! It's yet another nasty snowy day in Connecticut so I'm trapped inside, what better time to make a blog post? I was walking through the Target near my school and I found myself being stared down by the L'Oreal Colour Riche Gold Dust collection. They were all so sparkly and enticing but I could really only afford one. Here's the one I chose:

Mini Color Club Haul : Holiday Splendor

Hey ladies! Today I have the last, but certainly not least, polish of my mini haul: Holiday Splendor. Let me tell you flat out, I LOVE this polish and it's definitely my favorite of the three that I purchased. If you saw my previous posts and you loved the other two, you'll be blown away by this one. If you haven't seen the other two posts, check out the first one here, and the second one here.

Mini Color Club Haul : Magic Attraction

Hey ladies! Not too long ago I picked up three Color Club polishes from a discount store at the mall. I got all three for $4! Unfortunately, they didn't have any of the Halo Hues polishes so I went for the next best thing: glitter!

The three colors I bought (L to R) are Jingle Jangle, Magic Attraction, and Holiday Splendor. I don't want to create a long blog post, so I'll be breaking up this mini haul into three separate posts.

Ellagee Shirley Temple

Hello ladies, today I have for you an indie polish from the maker Ellagee. It's name is Shirley Temple and is one of those nifty thermal polishes. Before this polish, I had not owned any thermal polishes so I was so excited to find out.
Shirley Temple is a very lovely pink color with a strong pink shimmer. It also has an array of holographic circle glitters.

Sssssexy Half Moons

Hey ladies! Sorry for the lack of blog posts, I started my semester this week so it's all been pretty hectic. Here's a catch up post on a mani I did earlier in the week.
I recently saw a pin of a deep red mani with negative space half moons. I thought it was so cute and I totally wanted to try it.

Boyfriend Did My Nails!

Today I have a post to share my number one supporter for my nail aspirations: my boyfriend. Every day he'll grab my hand and look at what I've done with my nails and tell me how cool they are (like he really cares) and he'll sit there as I show him polishes I want (like he really cares) and he listens to me ramble about different polishes and their formulas, textures, pigmentation, you name it (like he really cares). When I told him about the tag on Instagram #boyfrienddidmynails, I was ecstatic that he was more than happy to participate.
Here's a little picture of him actually doing the nails

     How precious :)

Nude Nails with Rose Accents

Hey ladies! I've been getting ready for my next semester of college so I've been falling a little behind on posts, sorry about that. And I probably won't get into the swing of things for a few weeks once the semester starts, so try to bear with me.
Due to the great response I got to my rainbow gradient nail art I decided to do some more nail art. Granted, it is not nearly as intricate, but it's a little something different than my regular swatches.

The colors I used (from left to right) were OPI Sandy Hook Green, Covergirl Forever Fawn, Ruby Wing Groupie, and Ruby Wing Sweet Rose. Ruby Wing polishes change color in the sun, but of course I had this mani on a rainy day so I sadly was unable to photograph it.

Gradient Rainbow Nail Art

Hey there ladies! Today I have for you a little something different. I decided to sit down and take some time to do some nail art. I was looking through my Instagram pictures and through my blog and realized I rarely do nail art anymore. I looked through Pinterest and through some of my liked photos on IG and found some inspiration.

It all started with a simple rainbow gradient. For the gradient I used (from left to right) China Glaze Shocking Pink, Orange Knockout, and Celtic Sun, Funky Fingers Lime Light, 220 Volts, and Urban Outfitters Bandeau. I topped it off with a light holo glitter from NOPI called Love Your Life.

Essie Shine of the Times

One of the first polishes I ever had the I-need-to-have-it-or-I'll-die urges with was Essie Shine of the Times. It was so difficult to find that bottle without ordering it online, but I managed it! I snatched the last one off the shelves of a local Walmart back in April. A few days ago I realized I had only used it once and I never did a proper swatch of it. So I decided to do just that.

B Squared Lacquer - Iceberg

Good evening ladies! How are you all in the North Eastern US enjoying the snow? I haven't left all day and I'm so happy about it. I hate when it's under 70 degrees, I have no idea why I'm still in Connecticut...
Anyways, tonight I have for you a few swatches of a B Squared Lacquer polish. This one is called Iceberg and it's from the Christmas & New Years collection. I won this in a little giveaway on Instagram from Indie500nails right before Christmas.
